Project & System Design
Site inspection
During site inspections EWAB will verify the latest site drawings, discover potential obstacles, establish installation grid and start-up coordination with the people running the shop floor.
Co-suppliers
EWAB have established interfaces with hundreds of co-suppliers, from machine tools, robots, measuring equipment etc. At this stage the interfaces will be verified by EWAB, with all co- suppliers in the project.
Customer product
EWAB will verify any and all variations of the customers product that will be handled by the automation system. Also any known future alterations or upgrades.
Product enhancements
EWAB may suggest minor modifications to the product, if applicable, to ease the handling and positioning of the products. Also to further improve fail safe positioning, if applicable.
Layout modularity
EWAB will, from it's range of proven standard parts and building blocks, create a layout with highest possible layout modularity to reduce project lead time and increase system flexibility and ability to adapt to future changes in market demand.
Integration
EWAB will, through the network of Project Offices around the world, have EWAB engineers on an eye-to-eye contact with all co-suppliers in the project, to ensure that the integration of the entire system will work smoothly
User interface
Simplicity is a key element in all user interfacing. EWAB will, in close contact with the end-users and operators, verify that the proposed user interface will meet expectations.
