EWAB Modular Mindset

A full implementation of the EWAB Flow Technology will secure the investment in automation as the equipment is reconfigurable, it will improve the production throughput in the manufacturing process as well as improve the throughput of the project through our own flow scaping, engineering, build, installation and customer training process.

Layout design modularity

EWAB must be able to have a major influence on the overall layout design in order to maintain a modular layout. This is essential to reconfigure quickly, on time deliveries, shipping modules to other suppliers, making the installation possible in the time available and meeting overall budget requirements.

Drag & Drop Modularity

The optimum layout is built in common length modules. This means that a section or “zone” is “drag & drop” flexible in relation to any other section in the system. To find the most economical solution, EWAB may need to alter the layout and move some equipment in order to achieve maximum modularity.

The optimum layout will reduce relative cost for non value adding conveyor modules including attached controls while it will add cost for value adding pallets, providing more dynamic, flexibility and constraint protection.

Plug & Play Functionality

This would also include EWAB’s numbering system, program structure and documentation standards. Each one depends on the other to ensure a system that functions perfectly and meets delivery and installation on time.
